Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) - Jordan Forum for Policy Dialogue Chairman Hameed Bataineh met on Thursday with Jordan’s Ambassador to Qatar Zaid Lawzi to discuss shared priorities and boost the embassy's outreach to Jordanian expats there.

To shape public policy, Bataineh said the forum functions as an independent platform that gathers Jordanian experts to foster dialogue and build strategic national partnerships.

During Bataineh's visit and his accompanying delegation to the Jordanian Embassy in Doha, he stressed the need to engage Jordanians abroad, noting that skilled professionals in Qatar can boost bilateral ties and drive knowledge sharing.

He also praised Lawzi and the embassy for their "dedicated" service to the Jordanian community in Qatar.

Lawzi, for his part, noted the "vital role" that national think tanks and leaders play in building bridges, engaging talent, and advancing shared goals.

Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination to foster institutional cooperation and exchange expertise.
